How we connect with you and your child:
Parent Orientation nights (January/February) Parent Orientation nights are held at the beginning of the year. Parents are invited to attend the Centre to learn more about how we operate; our policies, the curriculum, children’s health, staffing and much more.
One to One A quick chat between parents and our educators at drop off and collection allows us to give specific focus to specific needs or learning goals of each child’s needs and learning.
Story Park App On enrolment each family is sent an invitation to Cottesloe Kindergarten & Child Care Centre on Story Park. This App provides updates on your child’s day at the centre. individual learning goals. achievements and photos. The App provides the opportunity for feedback and sharing from the home.
Committee of Management (second Tuesday of each month) and AGM (March) – The meetings are attended by our Centre Director and committee members who represent our parents. All parents welcome.
Parent Interviews may be requested at any time but are offered on a formal basis, via the newsletter, mid year. An opportunity for parents discuss in depth about their child to track progress, highlight achievements or areas that may need more attention.
